2. Scope of Services

Advanced Plumbing & Drain, Inc. provides residential and commercial plumbing services, including but not limited to general plumbing repairs, leak detection, sewer repair and replacement, hydro jetting, drain cleaning, and water heater (tankless and traditional) installation and repair.

  • Estimates: Initial service quotes or estimates are based on visible conditions. Final project costs may vary if concealed, unforeseen, or pre-existing site conditions are discovered upon inspection or execution of the work.
  • 24/7 Emergency Services: While emergency service is offered around the clock, dispatch times depend on technician availability, location, and severity of current service volumes.

3. Customer Responsibilities

  • Access & Utilities: The client must grant our technicians clear, safe, and reasonable access to the property and plumbing systems, including providing functional water, electrical, and gas connections necessary to perform the work.
  • Pre-Existing Property Conditions: The client is responsible for identifying and notifying our team of any delicate, historical, or non-standard property conditions (e.g., aging walls, fragile tiles, concealed electrical wiring, or pre-existing structural issues) near the work area.

4. Payments, Pricing, and Invoicing

  • Payment Terms: Payment is due upon completion of services rendered, unless explicitly agreed upon in writing via an authorized estimate or commercial billing agreement.
  • Accepted Payment Methods: Cash, check, major credit cards, and ACH payments.
  • Late Payments & Collections: Unpaid balances past the agreed-upon payment terms may accrue late interest or finance charges as permitted under California law. The customer agrees to pay reasonable costs incurred in the collection of unpaid amounts.
  • Mechanics Lien Rights: Pursuant to California law, Advanced Plumbing & Drain, Inc. reserves all statutory rights regarding mechanics liens for non-payment of labor and materials provided on real property.

5. Warranties & Workmanship

  • Workmanship Guarantee: We warrant our direct labor and installation workmanship for a standard period specified in your written service contract or invoice.
  • Manufacturer Warranties: Parts, fixtures, water heaters, and materials supplied by us are subject to the individual terms provided by their respective manufacturers.
  • Drain & Sewer Clearances: Warranties on drain line clearings or sewer stoppages are limited and may be voided if lines contain root intrusion, collapsed piping, offset joints, heavy grease buildup, or improper non-flushable materials introduced after service.

6. Limitation of Liability & Unforeseen Conditions

  • Unforeseen Conditions: We are not liable for pre-existing system damage, degraded or fragile piping (e.g., rusted galvanized steel or clay pipes), concealed hazardous materials (such as asbestos or lead), or structural issues outside the scope of work.
  • Consequential Damages: To the fullest extent permitted by law, Advanced Plumbing & Drain, Inc. shall not be held liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages (including water damage caused by pre-existing leaks or line ruptures prior to our arrival).

7. Cancellation & Right to Cancel (California Law)

  • Residential Services: For applicable residential home improvement or repair projects, clients retain cancellation rights under California Civil Code and Business & Professions Code rules. Emergency service requests initiated for immediate safety or utility protection may limit cancellation terms once labor or materials have been dispatched.
